Thank you for joining us in this groundbreaking event organized by Limb Strong, a community dedicated to raising awareness and fostering inclusion among individuals with Limb Differences. Proudly supported by Limb Lab and potential sponsors, this tournament promises an evening of Christmas fun, camaraderie, and a chance to showcase your pool skills and did we mention a trophy and prize (prize will be confirmed soon) for 1st place and spot prizes for participants on the night.

  • Date and Time: Saturday 16th December, starting promptly at 3 pm. We recommend arriving by 2 pm.

FAQs:

  1. Skill Level: No worries if you’re not a pool pro! The night is about having fun, and there will be plenty of assistance available.
  2. Limb Difference Requirement: This tournament is exclusively for individuals with Limb Differences. However, supporters are welcome to join and cheer for their friends or family members with Limb Differences.
  3. Address and Parking: Free parking is available at BIG JOHN’S BILLIARDS.
  4. Food and Drink: Yes, food will be provided, and ‘Big John’s’ has a bar for beverages.
  5. Arrival Time: The tournament starts at 3 pm sharp; we recommend arriving by 2 pm.
  6. Limb Difference Definition: “Limb difference” refers to a condition where an individual has a noticeable difference in the appearance or function of one or more limbs compared to typical limbs. This can result from congenital factors (present at birth) or acquired conditions, such as amputation or injury. People with limb differences may have limbs that are shorter, longer, or differently shaped than usual, and this diversity is a natural part of human variation. The term is often used in a positive and inclusive way to celebrate diversity and promote understanding and acceptance.   7. Tournament Format: The format will be finalized based on the number of participants. Limited spaces are available, so apply soon. Confirmation will be sent via email and text, and there is a maximum number of players.
  8. Guests: Bring friends or family to support you or make new friends during the event.
  9. Photography: Feel free to take photos; a photographer/videographer will capture moments for our socials.
  10. Dress Code: Wear what makes you comfortable! Prosthetic display is encouraged if you wish.
  11. Event Duration: We anticipate the event to conclude around 6 pm, depending on attendance and tournament progress. But if you get knocked out early you are welcome to stay and watch the finale.
  12. Limb Lab Clients: You do not have to be a Limb Lab client; this event is inclusive to all with Limb Differences
